Course Title: Photoshop Intro
Summary: : Bring Your Own Laptop has training centres in Australia and New Zealand, but the man behind it all, Daniel Scott, is now teaching in Ireland and brining his uniquely experienced training to Ireland’s Photoshop users.
Photoshop Intro is a 2 day training course that can be taken either at the Bring Your Own Laptop facility, or at your location anywhere in Ireland or Northern Ireland. It assumes you know how to use your computer, but have little or no exposure to Photoshop.
Dan is an Adobe Certified Instructor with well over a decade of experience in print, web and graphic design for major publishers, so the course gives you a very healthy overview of the many uses of Photoshop from editing your photography to creating graphics from nothing for your website or your publication.
The training is based around working on real projects, either creating objects or editing supplied materials, and it’s very hands on. You’ll learn by actually doing things, rather than discussing them or reading a text.
You get 12 months of email support after your course, customised take home notes (so you don’t have to panic trying to write it all down on the day) and of course, Dan is willing to customise the training for you or your team to meet specific outcomes. Just ask.
Great training is essential for a lifelong foundation in Photoshop CC. Now Ireland has access.
Course Title: Photoshop Advanced
Summary: There is so much to learn in Photoshop that regardless of whether you are self-taught or have had basic training in Adobe Photoshop CC’s myriad functions, every regular user is going to benefit from advanced training.
Photoshop has many hidden gems – tools that do a small number of tasks amazingly well. But many of these tools are in the menus, rather than on the tool palette and often go unused. Some powerful abilities are part of processes not easily grasped without having someone show you how it’s done.
Daniel Scott provides a 2 day advanced training program for Photoshop CC that takes you step by step through real world (and of course hands on) projects so you can see how different tasks merge together in an efficient and flexible workflow.
Don’t get stuck using the same techniques or using the same presets every time. Learn how to create your own actions, presets and where to find third party solutions. If you are involved in digital content creation that involves anything visual, Daniel Scott is going to show you how to take it to a more professional level.
You also get take home notes and a year of email support, but what is really cool is you can have Daniel tailor the class to your group’s specific needs – just ask for details.
Course Title: Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator Intro Combo
Summary: : Photoshop CC is the cornerstone of the Adobe powerhouse – but of course it plays well with others. In fact, Adobe has been spending years getting all the appropriate apps to work seamlessly together so as one program reaches the limits of what it can do well, another more appropriate software application is ready to continue on.
If you work in graphic design for print or web (or even video) Adobe has an amazing combination in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Each one has its own skill set, and they complete each other in a way that has no challenger, let alone equal.
So imagine the power of know how to utilise all three graphic design apps together, and how much easier it would be to learn them together rather than in a piecemeal fashion. This is the particular advantage to a 5 day course that starts from the very beginning and takes you from zero to hero.
All the teaching is hands on as you work through real projects to learn how to create commercially useful results for photo editing, page layout, illustration and web design. And your teacher is the founder of Bring Your Own Laptop and Adobe Certified veteran of print and web publishing, Daniel Scott.
Dan can teach you in a class at his facility, or come to you, and he offers complete customisation of all his training courses so that your team can learn specific skills and produce targeted outcomes for your organisation. All training comes with notes written for your exact course and a year of email support direct from Dan himself.
