Frequently asked questions
What version do I need?
I'm happy to run a class in any version you have. Please let me know what version you are using when you contact me. CS4, CS5, CS6, CC+
What if I don’t own the software yet?
Don’t worry! I can bring laptops with everything you need on them. Or you can go to Adobe.com where it is possible to download a free 30-day trial of the software.
I strongly believe in maintaining small class sizes. Our class size is 1-9 learners. I believe that this provides the necessary environment to learn the software effectively.
What do I do if I don’t have a laptop?
That’s ok! I can provide you with a laptop to borrow for the class for free. All you need to do is to mention this when you're making your enquiry. I have both Macs and PCs available to borrow.
Will there be handouts/notes provided for the course?
I provide step-by-step notes nearly all the courses I run. These are very useful for use at a later point when it is not always possible to remember every detail of what you have learned.
Will there be any certification provided?
I provide certificates to all of our delegates at the end of the last day of their course.
Can I split my course in to shorter chunks?
Yes, this is no problem. It is not always possible to attend a course for 5 consecutive days. Some people prefer to break a 5-day course up in to shorter chunks in order to provide opportunity in between to practice and consolidate new skills before taking in new information.
For example, the Web BootCamp involves a 3-day JumpStart and 2 additional days involving more advanced skills. You can choose to break up the course in to 2 parts, completing the JumpStart initially and the 2 more advanced courses at a later date.
You just need to make contact with me when you are making a booking and let me know what you want to do.
Do I need Mac or Pc?
I cater for both Mac and PC. Whether you use a Mac or PC laptop you'll be able to follow along perfectly.
